Privacy Policy

NextMPD — Wellbore Simulator

Information We Collect. When you create an account we collect the email address, name, and (optionally) the company you provided at registration. While you use the application we also record your IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamps for authentication events (sign-in, sign-out, failed sign-in) and solver runs. This information powers session management, abuse detection, and operator support.

How We Use It. Personal information is used to authenticate you, maintain your sessions, support your account, and detect or investigate misuse (for example, credential sharing or unusual activity). Solver-run telemetry (timestamps, IP, well id, duration) is used to operate and improve the application; it does not include the inputs or outputs of your simulations.

What We Don't Do. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the service (for example, payment processors when you subscribe) or as required by law.

Security. We use industry-standard practices to protect your account, including strong password hashing, encrypted sessions that can be revoked at any time, and protections against common web attacks. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

Your Choices. You can request deletion of your account by contacting support@nextmpd.com. Audit and telemetry records may be retained in anonymized form for security and operational analytics.

Cookies. We use a single encrypted session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the version stamp recorded against your account; we may require you to re-acknowledge an updated policy on your next sign-in.
